People with disabilities (15-64) face lower labor force participation (53.4%) and higher unemployment (10.3%) compared to the general population (ACOLA Report 2022). In WA’s arts and culture sector, there is a gap in entrepreneurship pathways for people with disabilities. This initiative aims to develop a tailored entrepreneurship education framework for creative practitioners with disabilities, enhancing their participation and inclusion. Activities include literature review, qualitative research, and the creation of a pilot program to address identified barriers and opportunities, fostering social enterprise and self-employment in the cultural sector.
