Blue Gravity is a program that fosters ocean innovation by providing diagnosis, recommendations, referrals, support, and subsidies. Last year, it engaged with 138 ventures, of which 23 received detailed support, and 10 received significant subsidized aid to expedite their innovation.The IdeaStarter funding, if approved, would allow Blue Gravity to extend the scope and flexibility of the program by subsidizing additional expenses like equipment or testing, and to support a larger number of participants.The number of ventures supported will depend on applicants meeting the criteria. An estimated 10 to 20 ventures will receive support, a projection based on last year's data and expected growth.The range of support will be from $5,000 to a maximum of $15,000 per venture.
